18 months-2.5 years:
Mommy and Me – 6-week program, 45-minute long class. Students must have a participating adult in each class. Classes consist of creative movement, beginner ballet, basic tumbling, and fun exercises to develop gross and fine motor skills. This class utilizing imagination, fun props, and toddler-friendly music to facilitate learning.
2.5-3.5 years old:
First Steps – Year-long program, 45-minute long class. Students learn beginner ballet and tumbling skills in this exciting, active class. Dancers use a variety of props and toddler-friendly music to facilitate learning.
4-5 years old:
Level 1 – 1 hr. class, each week includes Tap, Ballet, and Tumbling. Students start in Tap shoes and will change into Ballet shoes in the classroom. During this exciting class dancers will learn basic steps and skills in each genre of dance and use props to encourage participation.
Shake It Up! – 45-minute class, Pre-Hip Hop and Tumbling. This class is great for high-energy dancers! In Shake It Up! we rely heavily on the use of props and creative music to facilitate learning. Dancers will learn basic hip hop and tumbling movements and techniques.
Level 2 – 1 hr. class. Dancers 5-6 years. Unless already 6, new dancers should take Level 1 prior to Level 2. This class builds on skills learned in Level 1, with increased speed in all skills. Students are expected to shoe increased focus in class.
6-8 years old:
Level 2 – Dancers 5-6 see above for description.
Level 3 – 1.5 hr. class, new dancers who are 7-8 years old should enroll in this class. Each week consists of 30 minutes of Ballet, Tap, and Jazz. In this class dancers will see increased barre, across the floor, and center work in Ballet. Speed and complexity increases in Tap, introduction into turning Tap steps (skills permitting), and time steps. This class also introduces dancers to Jazz dancing techniques!
Move It! – 45 minute class. Dancers 5-7, Hip Hop and Tumbling. Typically consists of 30 minutes of Hip Hop and 15 minutes of tumbling each week. Dancers will learn hip hop skills and popular dances like the dougie, dab, etc. and more fundamental techniques.
Acro 1 – 1 hr. class. Students 6+ years old. Younger students will need exceptional focus for the safety of
themselves and other students in the class. Depending on skill set of class, students can learn back bends,
handstands, head stands, cartwheels, round offs, front limbers, backbend kick-overs, and more. Students should be able to push into their backbend (head off ground) and hold it without assistance prior to enrollment. This class should focus on flexibility and strength.
Hip Hop Skillz Builder 1 – 1 hr. class. This class focuses on teaching fundamental Hip Hop skills and does not participate in recital. It is designed to help students develop their Hip Hop attitude and confidence in hip hop skills.
Acro 2 – 1 hr. class. Must be approved by an instructor prior to enrollment. Students should already be able to go down and recover from their backbends with control, execute a backbend kick-over or walkover and a front limber with minimal-no assistance. Students coming into this class should have straight legs on cartwheels and handstands. Students are strongly encouraged to take Ballet or Jazz class in conjunction with Acro 2.
Level 1 Hip Hop – 45 minute class, 7-10 year olds. Students learn Hip Hop fundamentals, popular dance
moves and traditional hip hop techniques. Focus on learning through choreography.
Level 4 Tap – 45 minute class. 7-10 year olds. Tap dancing focuses on creating rhythm and sound through the use of the feet. This class is great for dancers' musicality and coordination! New 7-year-old dancers in this class MUST HAVE at least one year of tap training and properly execute a variety of tap skills for instructor approval.
Level 4 Ballet – 45 minute class. 7-10 year olds. In this class, barre work, across the floor, and center floor skills increase in difficulty. Students learn variety of
leaps, jumps, turns and more. New 7-year-old dancers MUST HAVE at least one year of ballet training and should seek instructor approval prior to enrollment.
Level 4/5 Jazz – 1 hr. class. 7-10 year olds. Dancers learn Jazz techniques such as isolations, proper stretching techniques, leaps, turns, and kicks. This class is designed to be taken in conjunction with Level 4 or 5 Ballet. 7-year-old dancers should have at least one year of jazz or ballet training prior to enrollment.
Level 2 Hip Hop – 45 minute class. 9-11 year olds. 9 year-old dancers should complete Level 1 Hip Hop and receive approval for Level 2. Dancers learn more advanced Hip Hop skills and routines. Should have a firm grasp on fundamentals of Hip Hop dancing
Level 4/5 Jazz – 1 hr. class. Ages 7-10 years old, see above for details. Older dancers with limited dance
experience should register for level 4/5 instead of level 5 or 6. Designed to be taken in conjunction with Level 4 or 5 Ballet.
Level 4 Ballet – Ages 7-10, see description above.
Level 4 Tap – Ages 7-10, see description above.
Level 5 Ballet – 45 minute long class. Ages 9+. Dancers learn more advanced ballet skills and continue to work on terminology, placement, turn out, and carrying their body like dancers. Should have a firm grasp on Ballet
Level 5 Tap – 45 minute long class. Ages 9+. Dancers learn increasing difficult tap techniques and skills.
Should have a firm grasp on Tap fundamentals.
Level 5 Jazz – 1 hr long class. Ages 9+. Dancers should have at least one year of JAZZ experience. Designed to be taken in conjunction with Level 5 Ballet. Dancers learn more advanced choreography and skills in this class.
Acro 2 – 1 hr. long class. Must be approved by an instructor prior to enrollment. See
above for details.
Level 6 Tap – 45 minute class. Ages 11+, dancers in this class should have at least two years of Tap
experience. Dancers learn more advanced Tap skills and techniques.
Level 6 Ballet – 1 hr. class. Ages 11+ (or with approval). Dancers should have at least two years of Ballet
training. New ballet dancers should take either Teen/Adult ballet, or Level 4-5 (dependent on age). Dancers
learn advanced ballet techniques at the barre, center floor, and across the floor. Dancers should have a grasp of basic Ballet terminology.
Level 6 Jazz – 1 hr. class. Ages 11+ (or with approval). Dancers should have at least one year of JAZZ
experience. Should have basic Jazz skills mastered, such as chaine turns, pique turns, single pirouettes, front battements, saut de chat, and grand jete. Will learn more advanced skills such as fan kicks, calypso leaps, ring leaps, switch leaps, double/triple/quad pirouettes and more.
Level 7 Tap – 45 minute class. Ages 13+ or with approval. Dancers should have at least 3 years of Tap class
experience. Dancers should have an exceptionally strong foundation in Tap dance techniques. Approval is
required to join this class. Dancers perform all time steps, toe stands, wings, pull backs, pull overs and more.
Level 7 Ballet – 1.25 hr class. Ages 13+ or with approval. Dancers should have at least 3 years of Ballet
experience. Dancers learn increasing difficult Ballet techniques and skills. Dancers will work on allegro and
adagio combinations, barre and across the floor work. Must wear pink tights and wear hair in a bun.
Level 7 Jazz – 1 hr. class. Ages 13+ or with approval. Dancers should have at least 3 years of Jazz experience.
-Dancers learn advanced jazz techniques, skills, combinations and styles. Will learn skills like jazz renverse,
switch leaps, switch center leaps, ring leaps, flying disks, triple/quad pirouettes, and more.
Hip Hop Skillz Builder 2 – 1 hr class. Similar in structure to Hip Hop Skillz 1, advanced skills and techniques
will be taught. Students should master Skillz 1 before moving on to Skillz 2. Approval required.

Level 3 Hip Hop – 1 hr. class. Ages 11+ or with approval. Dancers should have at least two years of Hip Hop
experience. Dancers learn more intricate and advanced choreography and techniques. Dancers should have a firm grasp on fundamental hip hop skills.
Level 4 Hip Hop – 1.25 hr. class. Ages 12+, approval required. This is an advanced-level Hip Hop class.
Dancers should be able to pick up choreography quickly and be open to new styles and techniques.
Contemporary Hip Hop – 1 hr. class. Ages 12+, approval required. This is an advanced-level Hip Hop class
that fuses Jazz technique with Hip Hop technique. Dancers should have strong body control and be comfortable infusing their emotions with their movement.
Dance Team Prep – 1 hr. class. Ages 12+. All levels are welcome in this class! Dancers will learn turns and
leaps useful for High School and College dance team preparation. Skills taught are reflective of the group of
students enrolled but will include: chaine/pique turns, pirouettes, fouette turns, saut de chat, center leaps,
axels and more.
Strength and Flexibility – 45 minute class. Ages 10+. All levels are welcome in this class! This class is
designed to improve overall strength and flexibility in dancers. Students should be aware of basic body
alignment practices (such as closing the ribcage, hips square, turning out from hips, etc). Students will be
guided through proper technique to ensure strength gain and avoid injury.
Ballet Tech/Pointe – 1.5 hr. class. Ages 12+ approval required. This class is focused on advanced Ballet
techniques and includes at least thirty minutes of Pointe or pre-Pointe work per class. This class helps students gain the strength, flexibility, and alignment necessary for proper pointe work. Students should have a strong foundation in basic ballet terminology.
Teen/Adult Ballet – 1 hr. class. Ages 11+. This class is for beginner dancers and adults. Dancers will learn
basic ballet techniques facing the barre, in center floor, and eventually, across the floor.
Adult Jazz – 1 hr. class. Ages 19+. This class is designed for adult dancers with or without previous experience.
-Dancers will learn stylized combinations, basic Jazz leaps and turns, and across the floor technique.
Adult Tap – 45 minute class. Ages 19+. This class is designed for adult dancers with or without previous
experience. Dancers learn basic and intermediate Tap techniques.
Teen/Adult Ballet - 1 hr. class. Ages 11+. This class is for beginner dancers and adults. Dancers will learn
basic ballet techniques facing the barre, in center floor, and eventually, across the floor.
